Modern technology exists to make sure that voting by mail is secure. You can track your ballot like an Amazon package. You can also drop your ballot off at a secure ballot box. The ballot boxes are secured by 24/7 infrared surveillance and controlled by a documented chain of custody.

Each Drop Box has its own 24/7 infrared surveillance capable of reading a license plate in the dark at 100ft
Every Drop off Box is secured with a tie having a unique ID number.
A Bipartisan team inspects the tie, signs off that it was not tampered with, then cuts the tie to collect ballots
The Bi-Partisan team counts the number (not party) of ballots, then place them in a secure room until they are counted.
After your ballot arrives at the Board of Elections
The Board of elections maintains a complete chain of custody and control record of ballots collected.
Ballots are stored in a secure room at the board of elections with extremely limited access prior to the election.
Counted ballots are managed by a team of trained election staff and judges.
The entire process is Bi-Partisan, with numerous accountability measures in place.
